Temporadas USA Group LLC ("Temporadas USA," "we," "us") runs temporadasusa.net, where we sell LED Christmas sweaters for dogs to customers in the United States. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, who sees it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because our data practices are simple: we collect what we need to ship your order and nothing more.
What we collect
We do not have customer accounts, a newsletter, or a sign-up form. The only time we collect personal information is when you place an order. At checkout you provide:
- Your name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Shipping address
- Billing details, such as your billing address or ZIP code, if the payment form asks for them
- Your payment details, which go straight to Stripe
- The items, sizes, and quantities in your order
You pay on our own checkout page, using a secure payment form provided by Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe collects your payment card details directly inside that form. Our website never sees, receives, or stores your card number. Depending on your device, the form may also offer Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Link. Link is Stripe's service for saving your payment details so you can check out faster on sites that use Stripe. If you choose to use Link, Stripe's own Link terms and privacy policy apply to it. Stripe also runs fraud screening (Stripe Radar), which may use cookies and information about your device and browser to tell real orders from fraudulent ones. Stripe's own privacy policy, at stripe.com/privacy, describes what Stripe does with that data.
If you email, call, or message us on WhatsApp, we keep that conversation so we can help you and refer back to it later.
Why we use it
We use your information to:
- Process your payment and confirm your order
- Pack and ship your sweater and email you carrier tracking
- Answer your questions and resolve delivery problems
- Detect and prevent fraud
- Keep the sales and tax records the law requires us to keep
In plain terms, our basis for using your information is that we need it to complete the purchase you asked for and to meet our legal obligations as a seller. We do not use it for anything else.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information, and we never have.
- We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not send marketing emails or texts. If we ever start a newsletter, it will be opt-in only and you will be able to unsubscribe in one click.
- We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics, such as Google Analytics, on the site.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with the companies that help us fulfill your order, and only what each one needs:
- Stripe, our payment processor, receives your name, email, phone number, billing details, shipping address, order contents, and payment details. Stripe sends your email receipt.
- Shipping carriers (such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx) receive your name, address, and phone number so they can deliver the package.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and protects it from attacks. Cloudflare sees standard technical data like your IP address when you visit any page.
- Law enforcement or courts, only when a valid legal request requires it, or when we need to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.
If Temporadas USA is ever sold or merged, order records may transfer to the new owner under this same policy.
How long we keep it
Order records, including your name, address, and what you bought, are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require, which is typically seven years. Support emails and messages are kept for as long as they are useful to help you, then deleted. Stripe keeps payment records according to its own retention rules and card-network requirements.
Storage in your browser
Our site stores three small items in your browser's local storage so the site works the way you left it. These are not cookies, they are not sent to us, and they contain no personal information:
- Your language preference (English or Spanish)
- Your size unit preference (inches or centimeters)
- The contents of your shopping bag
The only cookies you will encounter are essential ones set by Stripe for fraud prevention when the checkout loads, and, on rare occasions, a security cookie from Cloudflare if it needs to verify that you are not a bot. Details are in our Cookie Policy.
Anonymous visit counts
To see how people find us and whether checkout works, our site counts visits and shopping steps: a page visit, adding a sweater to the bag, opening checkout, and a completed order with its total. Each count records only the step, the date, the page, and whether the visit came from Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, another website, or directly. It uses no cookies, saves nothing in your browser, and never records your IP address, name, email, or anything else that identifies you or follows you between visits. The counts are kept on our own Cloudflare server and are used only by us.
Do Not Track
Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal to the sites you visit. We do not track visitors across other sites or allow advertising trackers, and our anonymous visit counts identify no one, so there is nothing for a Do Not Track signal to turn off. The site works the same whether or not your browser sends one. The only other companies that see information about your device on our site are Stripe, to prevent payment fraud, and Cloudflare, to keep the site secure, as described above.
Security
Payment card data is handled entirely by Stripe, which is certified to the highest level of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS Level 1). We never see or store your card number. Our site is served over HTTPS, so everything you type is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but by keeping the amount of data we hold small, we keep the risk small too.
Children
Our site sells to adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct it if it is wrong
- Delete it, except for the order and tax records we are legally required to keep
Email temporadasusa@gmail.com with the name and email address you used at checkout. We will reply within 30 days. We will never treat you differently for making a request.
Notice for California residents
California's consumer privacy laws (CCPA and CPRA) give California residents the right to know what personal information a business collects, to ask for it to be deleted, to correct it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of that information. Those laws apply to businesses above certain size and revenue thresholds, and as a small seasonal seller we most likely fall below them. We honor these requests anyway for every customer, in every state. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. Use the contact details below to make a request.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so here in plain language.
